Next to the Hohentwiel Mountain with the most fortress ruins in Germany, are the ruins of Hohenkrähen and Mägdeberg. Another lovely day trip is to the area of Friedingen with the "Friedinger Schlössle", a well-kept manor house from Medieval times.
